DR. GRETCHEN ADKINS
Dr. Adkins received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Adkins completed her residency at Ohio State University and joined Physicians for Women of Greensboro in 2006. She has really fallen in love with North Carolina and the Greensboro area. Some of Dr. Adkins hobbies include traveling, playing tennis and spending time with family.

Dr. Adkins is wonderful. She is thoughtful and never makes me feel stupid for asking questions. She explains things adequately and in a calming manner. Her staff is friendly and helpful. I switched from another OB/GYN group a few years ago and will never go anywhere else now.
I can actually say that I look forward to my yearly visit with Dr. Adkins!! I am so impressed with everyone there…From check in to the mammogram, the bone density scan with Barbara( she is wonderful) and the time that Dr Gretchen spends in the room and never makes me feel rushed. I would highly recommend Physicians for Women Greensboro!!
Dr. Adkins was so sweet and professional and talked me step by step through what we were doing at my appointment. Also the nurses there make you feel so comfortable and are just the nicest people! 10/10
